Meet Shaun our General Dentist!
Shaun is our general dentist here at TCC and, as a member of the Total Care Club, will be your go-to person for all our routine check-ups and general dental care.
Introducing Shaun, our highly experienced and dedicated general dentist with over two decades of expertise in general dentistry.
Since qualifying from Guys' Hospital in London in 2002, Shaun has built a distinguished career, practising across East England and continually advancing his knowledge and skills.
With postgraduate training from the prestigious Tipton Training Institute and a Master’s degree in Dental Law and Ethics, Shaun combines technical proficiency with a deep understanding of the ethical aspects of dental care.
Beyond his clinical work, he contributes to the profession as a columnist for the British Dental Journal and a Non-Executive Director for CDS, all while enjoying life in the Suffolk countryside with his family.
Meet Megan our Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist!
Megan is our wonderful Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapist here at TCC; she will play a vital role in maintaining your oral health through preventative care.
Meet Megan, our dedicated Dental Hygienist and Therapist who is passionate about helping patients achieve healthier, more confident smiles.
After completing her studies at the University of Essex in 2022, Megan further advanced her skills by earning a BSc in Oral Health Science in 2023.
With a strong focus on preventive care and patient well-being, she takes great pride in transforming lives through improved oral health and aesthetics.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys staying active by going on long walks with her dog and spending time at the gym.
Meet Karen our Dental Hygienist!
Karen is our lead hygienist here at TCC. She has a special interest in implant maintenance and has developed and implemented a maintenance programme within the practice to ensure all our implant patients are continually cared for to our high standards.
Introducing Karen, our highly experienced dental hygienist with a passion for implant maintenance. After qualifying in Edinburgh in 1994, Karen moved to Nottingham, where she built a diverse career in dentistry. Following a five-year break to raise her son, she returned to the profession, attending numerous courses to refine her skills. Karen has a particular interest in implant maintenance, playing a key role in developing and implementing a maintenance programme within the practice to ensure all our implant patients are continually cared for to our high standards. Her expertise led to her being elected to the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) committee, where she organised national conferences and lectured across the UK.
A committed educator, Karen has lectured internationally, emphasising the importance of implant maintenance. She is also a Key Opinion Leader for Dentsply Sirona and has published research on maintaining oral hygiene for implant patients. In addition to her clinical work, Karen supports the dental charity Dentaid, travelling to Uganda to provide dental care and health education in remote villages. Karen is an active member of several professional bodies, including the British Society of Dental Hygiene & Therapy and The International Team for Implantology.
Meet Emma our Dental Hygienist!
Meet Emma, our Dental Hygienist. After completing her degree in 2010, Emma pursued her passion for patient care, earning her Diploma in Dental Hygiene & Therapy from the University of Sheffield in 2013.
With a focus on preventative care and implant maintenance, Emma is committed to improving her patients' self-confidence and overall well-being. She believes that building strong communication and rapport with each patient is essential to achieving the best results.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys reading, staying active at the gym, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Meet Leanne our Dental Hygienist!
Introducing Leanne, our skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist & Therapist who graduated from Sheffield in 2010.
With over a decade of experience as a dental nurse in both practice and oral and maxillofacial settings, Leanne brings a wealth of knowledge and a calming presence to her role.
She excels at working with nervous and anxious patients, building trust and confidence through rapport and understanding.
Outside of dentistry, Leanne is an avid animal lover who enjoys spending time outdoors with her horses, chickens, and cats. She shares her passion for horses with her daughter, who competes locally with the Pony Club.
Leanne is also a member of the ITI and BSP, with a strong interest in periodontal treatment.
Meet Matt our Endodontist!
Introducing Matt, our dentist with a special interest in endodontics.
After graduating from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 2007, Matt quickly became immersed in root canal treatments, earning the British Endodontic Society Prize for both Vocational and General Dental Practitioners.
His commitment to excellence led him to complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Endodontics and a restorative dentistry course. Matt is also an Invisalign provider, enhancing his ability to offer comprehensive care.
When he's not at work, Matt enjoys outdoor adventures with his wife and two sons and has recently embraced BMX racing, competing nationally and sharing this exhilarating sport with his family.
