Colin qualified in dentistry from the University of Glasgow in 1994.

In 1997, he became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (by examination). He also entered dental practice in 1997 and began to build a referral service in Oral Surgery and Implant Dentistry.

In 1999, Colin became a General Dental Council Registered Specialist in Oral Surgery.

In 2005, he was elected to Fellowship of the International Team for Implantology, a network of 15,000 professionals worldwide who promote implant dentistry through research, education, and development. He was formerly a Member of the ITI education working group and sat on the Leadership Team of the ITI UK & Ireland Section.

He is responsible for developing education for healthcare professionals in implant dentistry and has personally developed many courses in this field.

In 2009 Colin became a director at Campbell and Peace Specialist Practice and in 2013 formed The Campbell Clinic.

Colin has placed over 4,000 implants and restored many of these, he has also carried out over 10,000 surgical procedures.

He is responsible for mentoring dozens of dentists and introducing them to implant dentistry for the benefit of their patients and has also lectured nationally for over 10 years on Implant Dentistry and Oral Surgery.

Colin has been providing expert witnessing services for ten years in dozens of cases and has appeared in the county and criminal trials and regulatory hearings as an expert.

Beatriz joined the team at The Campbell Clinic back in 2015. Having trained extensively herself, she has now placed implants since then.

She feels confident in different scenarios and provides a level of straightforward, advanced, and complex implant surgery including extensive grafting cases, multiple implant placement, and all aspects of minor oral surgery. She is experienced in digital workflow, as well as the use of CBCT as the gold standard for case planning.

She now dedicates 2 days a week exclusively to dental implants, placing over 120 implants a year. The rest of the week, she is heavily involved in teaching as part of The Campbell Academy faculty, providing mentoring and lecturing sessions at local and national levels. 

Really enjoying her profession, Beatriz likes the contact with patients, tries to make a difference in their lives, and smiles.

Apart from dentistry, she enjoys traveling and cooking, and she is always ready to talk about it! She has a young family which keeps her busy outside of work.

Andrew Legg

Andrew graduated from the University of Manchester in 2001. Extensive experience in general practice has given Andrew grounding in all aspects of dental care allowing a fully comprehensive approach to patient care.

Andrew has undertaken countless hours of training, including an 18-month Clinical Certificate in Implantology at the University of Sheffield and Advanced Surgical Training at the Royal College of Surgeons.

More recently, Andrew passed his Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

Andrew also works as a Clinical Teaching Fellow in Oral Surgery at the University of Manchester.

Andrew is passionate about the use of dental implants in helping restore patients to a more natural form and function and believes they play a pivotal role in improving the quality of life and general health of patients.

Andrew is proud to be an endorsing dentist for the major UK charity Action for Sick Children and has been involved in the launch of the Dental Playbox Scheme which aims to dispel the myths of visiting the dentist, educating underprivileged children countrywide. He is also a Bridge 2 Aid Unity Partner having raised money to help train dental officers in Tanzania.

Andrew is married with four young children. He enjoys following most sports, particularly rugby.

Alex Jones

Alex graduated from the University of Sheffield in 1999 with honours, distinction, and prizes in restorative dentistry. He has successfully placed over 3000 dental implants and has worked in general practice for several years whilst holding a teaching post at The Charles Clifford Dental Hospital before taking the leap to establishing his own business in 2004.

From 2006 onwards Alex undertook extensive postgraduate training in Restorative Dentistry, Aesthetic Dentistry, and Implant Dentistry. Since then, he has undertaken over 300 hours of training related to the provision of dental implants.

Alex has a particular interest in using dental implants and restorative dentistry to restore patients with advanced dental disease which requires a broad range of skills to rebuild their dental health. He has completed almost two hundred cases of immediate full arch implant dentistry, a treatment he finds exceptionally rewarding for the difference it can make in patients’ lives. 

Alex is a full member of the Association of Dental Implantology, a Study Club Director for the International Team of Implantology, and a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentists.

As well as dentistry, Alex’s other passions are his family (he is married with three children) and cycling whenever time permits!

Angela qualified as a dentist from Newcastle University in 2002. She became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2004 and gained her Diploma in Implant Dentistry in 2021. 

Angela benefits from a broad range of experience having worked for many years in both hospitals and dental practices. In hospitals, she treated patients with facial trauma, oral cancer, and who needed the removal of their wisdom teeth. In general dental practice, she carries out all aspects of general dentistry.

In 2017, Angela volunteered in Tanzania with the Bridge2Aid charity that the Campbell Clinic has supported for many years. 

In 2018 Angela graduated with a diploma in Conscious Sedation.

In her spare time, Angela enjoys keeping fit by running and hill walking. At home, she enjoys gardening and baking.

Nishant graduated in Dentistry from the University of Sheffield in 2015. After spending a year in general practice, Nish joined The Campbell Clinic in September 2016. 

Before Nish trained to become a dentist, he had undertaken an undergraduate MSc in Molecular Medicine and then a research-based PhD in Oral Disease. During this time, Nish presented his work at National and International conferences and he won the European Association of Oral Medicine Young Scientist Award in 2008. 

In November 2016, Nish completed his examinations for Membership in the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

At the Practice, Nish provides most of the general dentistry to adults and children. He also has an interest in Digital Dentistry, helping to deliver innovative Computer Aided Designed and Manufactured (CAD-CAM) restorations. Nish has completed a year-long certificate in Cosmetic Dentistry and Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry with Chris Orr. Nish is also certified in Digital Smile Design. Currently, Nish is undertaking a Diploma in Conscious sedation at the University of Newcastle, which will allow him to safely use additional techniques to work with and treat anxious patients. 

Nish is also involved in undertaking clinical research within the practice to ensure the delivery of the highest quality evidence-based treatment to all our patients. 

Outside of work, Nish is a serving Officer in the Army Dental Corps Reserve. He is also a keen cyclist, an offshore sailor, and a keen photographer.

Shaun Sellars

Shaun qualified from Guys’ Hospital in London in 2002. Since then, he has provided general dentistry in several East England practices.

In 2012, he undertook a year-long postgraduate training course at the prestigious Tipton Training Institute in Manchester, winning the prize for most improved dentist.

Following this, Shaun completed a Masters’ degree in Dental Law and ethics in 2021 from the University of Bedfordshire, gaining a distinction. Shaun is an Associate Fellow of the College of General Dentistry and a member of the British Dental Association’s private practice subcommittee for general dentistry.

He writes a regular column on ethics for the British Dental Journal. Shaun is also a Non-Executive Director for CDS, a social enterprise providing dentistry for patients with additional needs or who would otherwise have difficulty accessing care.

Away from dentistry, Shaun is a keen musician, having played guitar since he was 15 and enjoys life at home in the Suffolk countryside with his wife, and Golden Retriever, Monty.

After qualifying as a hygienist in Edinburgh in 1994, Karen moved to Nottingham where she worked in various dental practices before taking a five-year career break after the birth of her son.

Since returning to dentistry, Karen has attended various courses to enhance her in-surgery skills. She is a dedicated hygienist keen to equip her patients with the knowledge she has gained, to enhance their smiles and, ultimately, their general health and well-being. 

Karen has a special interest in implant surgery and maintenance. As maintenance is pivotal to the success of dental implants, Karen has developed and implemented a maintenance programme within the practice to ensure all our implant patients are continually cared for to our high standards. This dedication to the maintenance of dental implants has meant Karen was elected by her peers in 2014-2016 onto the Committee for The Association of Dental Implantology (ADI), a UK-based organisation supporting Dentists and patients. She organised a highly successful National Congress for the Dental Team including dental nurses, receptionists, and managers as well as her Hygienist and Therapist peers. During her role on the ADI committee, Karen travelled the country lecturing to Dentists on the treatment and maintenance of dental implants.

Karen has also lectured at the Congress for the International Team for Implantology to promote and emphasise the need for continuing maintenance of dental implants among her peers.  As a Key Opinion Leader for Dentsply Sirona, Karen has run courses and delivered lectures to Dentists, Hygienists, and Therapists across the country. Karen recently won a Research prize and published a paper on the ‘Importance of patients maintaining good oral hygiene to help support and maintain dental implants.

Karen is a supporter of the worldwide dental charity Dentaid. In 2008, Karen travelled to Uganda with Christian Relief Uganda in conjunction with Dentaid where she worked in remote villages providing emergency dental care with a team of dental professionals. Part of the programme was to promote Dental Health Education linked to basic Health Education in rural schools. She and the team also helped to formulate a now-published book on Infant Oral Mutilation (IOM), a subject at the heart of Dentaid's Educational Development Programme in many African communities.

Karen is a member of the professional bodies of the British Society of Dental Hygiene & Therapy, The British Society of Periodontology, The Association of Dental Implantology, and The International Team for Implantology.

After Emma completed her degree in Biomedical Science in 2010, she decided she wanted to utilise her knowledge of the human body within a clinical setting and be at the front of patient care. Emma completed the Diploma in Higher Education in Dental Hygiene & Therapy at the University of Sheffield in June 2013.

Emma is passionate about improving patients’ self-confidence and general well-being. She believes excellent communication and building a good rapport with each patient are the keys to achieving a high standard of care and the best clinical results. Emma has a special interest in preventative oral health care and the promotion of good oral health practices, particularly with regard to implant maintenance.

Outside of work, Emma enjoys reading, attending the gym, and spending time with her family and friends.

Leanne graduated from Sheffield as a Dental Therapist in 2010.  She previously worked as a dental nurse in practice and oral and maxillofacial for 10 years before going to university. 

Leanne works well with nervous and anxious patients and believes that a good rapport is important in helping to build their confidence.

She likes to spend time with her patients and enjoys a good chat, especially when it comes to family and horses!  In her spare time, Leanne likes to be outdoors whatever the weather with horses, chickens, cats, and any other animal she may meet!  She enjoys spending time with family and her daughter; who also rides and competes locally with the pony club.

Leanne is a member of the ITI and the BSP. She enjoys all aspects of her job and has a keen interest in periodontal treatment.

Megan completed her studies as a Dental Hygienist in 2022 from the University of Essex. She then returned in 2023 to complete a BSc in Oral Health Science to become a Dental Therapist.

Megan is passionate about contributing to an improvement in patient's self-esteem, by helping them to improve their oral health and in particular helping to improve aesthetics, resulting in patients becoming more confident with their smiles.

In her spare time, Megan enjoys going on long walks with her dog and going to the gym.

Andrew qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2006, winning the Malcolm Foster Silver medal for the best undergraduate research project in his year.

After a year in general dental practice, he returned to Liverpool Dental Hospital to complete a year of general professional training, which involved oral surgery, special care dentistry, and paediatric rotations.

In 2008, he then spent the next 2 years as a maxillofacial senior house officer moving around the Merseyside region, caring for patients with head and neck cancer and skeletal abnormalities.

In 2010, he began his Specialist Registrar training in Orthodontics at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital in Sheffield and the Royal Chesterfield Hospital. Andrew was awarded a Masters with Merit in 2012 from the University of Sheffield and completed his specialist training in 2013, achieving his MOrth from RCS Eng.

In 2015, he completed his training as a Consultant Orthodontist at Sheffield and Chesterfield, and in 2016 was appointed as Consultant at Queen’s Medical Centre.

Maria is originally from Seville, a beautiful city in the south of Spain.

She graduated as a Dentist in her hometown. After graduating, Maria wanted to achieve one of her lifelong ambitions, which was to travel and experience life and culture in a different country. Since she arrived in 2007, she has been working in Primary Care dentistry, allowing her to utilise her dental skills to deliver high standards of dental treatment to a variety of different patients.

During the past few years, Maria hasn’t stopped learning and improving her knowledge in the field of dentistry and her main interests are Orthodontics as well as Oral Surgery. She achieved a Postgraduate Certificate in Orthodontics and worked voluntarily with Mercy Ships (a non-profit organisation that does charitable work) in Sierra Leone. Maria says she found this experience ‘very challenging yet rewarding at the same time.'

Maria likes to travel along with meeting different people and share their culture. She loves learning new languages and is proud to say that she can speak perfect Spanish, and English (with an accent!) as well as intermediate French. Outside of dentistry, Maria enjoys physical activities such as Yoga, trekking in the countryside and cycling. She also has a passion for cooking.

Maria considers herself to be very patient, considerate, empathetic and a good communicator, qualities, which she believes are vital for patient care.

Matt qualified from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 2007 and quickly developed an interest in saving teeth with root canal treatments.

Much of his early postgraduate training was centred on this aspect of dentistry. He received the British Endodontic Society Prize for Vocational
Dental Practitioners in 2008 and the British Endodontic Society Prize for General Dental Practitioners in 2009. During these years, Matt studied for a Postgraduate Certificate in Endodontics from the University of Chester.

In addition, he has furthered his dental training with a year-long restorative dentistry course at the Centre for Advanced Dental Education and is now
an Invisalign provider.

Outside work, Matt likes being outdoors with his wife and two sons. He's happy in the garden, out on the hills, or getting his adrenaline fix in a veteran's BMX race. BMX racing is a sport that he has only taken up recently with his sons, but he loves it and now competes at national race events.

Rajan is a registered Specialist in Periodontics. He has extensive experience in private practice and working within multi-disciplinary specialist teams. Having graduated from Guy's, King's, and St. Thomas' Dental Institute, King's College London, with a distinction in 'The Practice of Clinical Dentistry', he went on to pursue wide-ranging in experience General Dental Practice, the Community Dental Services and Hospital Services. During these years Rajan attained his Membership in the Faculty of Dental Surgery and was one of the first group of dentists in the UK to achieve Membership in the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Rajan completed his specialist training and four-year masters degree in Periodontology at King's Dental Institute, Guy's Hospital London, and was subsequently awarded his Membership in Periodontics at The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He was also later awarded an Honorary Lectureship by the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England for his significant contributions to the Faculty's education programme. In the past, Rajan has been involved in the clinical teaching of undergraduates at both King College London and Birmingham University Dental Hospitals. His commitment to postgraduate education is demonstrated through frequent lectures and presentations, which he delivers at national and international levels.

Rajan can provide a comprehensive range of advanced periodontal care and implant dentistry. His areas of particular interest are the non-surgical and surgical management of periodontitis and peri-implant disease. His scope to offer surgical treatment includes periodontal surgery, periodontal regeneration, crown lengthening (functional and aesthetic), and periodontal plastic surgery.

Aside from his clinical work, Rajan has been a Council member of the British Society of Periodontology and has served as the inaugural Chairman of the society's young Specialists group. In 2014 Rajan was selected as an Officer on the 'Scientific Affairs Committee' for the 'European Federation of Periodontology', one of Europe's largest dental organisations.
