Shaun qualified from Guy’s Hospital in London in 2002. Since then, he has provided general dental care in several practices in East England.
In 2012, he undertook a year-long postgraduate training course at the prestigious Tipton Training Institute in Manchester, winning the prize for most improved dentist.
Following this, Shaun completed a Master’s degree in Dental Law and Ethics in 2021 from the University of Bedfordshire, gaining a distinction. Shaun is an Associate Fellow of the College of General Dentistry and a member of the British Dental Association’s private practice subcommittee for general dentistry.
He writes a regular column on ethics for the British Dental Journal. Shaun is also a Non-Executive Director of CDS, a social enterprise that provides dental care for patients with additional needs or who would otherwise have difficulty accessing care.
Away from dentistry, Shaun is a keen musician, having played guitar since he was 15 and enjoys life at home in the Suffolk countryside with his wife and Golden Retriever, Monty.
